Our journal has come of age…: we present to you the eighteenth issue of the Annals of the Croatian Political Science Association. The editorial (in Croatian) of the issue can be accessed here. You can access the entire issue here, and individual articles, reviews, reviews, and notices can be accessed here. The articles and essays published in this issue offer diverse, at times contradictory, but theoretically and empirically well grounded perspectives for thinking about relevant political issues. We like to think that the authors we have published participate in what constitutes good political science – an open political dialogue, inclusive of the opposing views on matters of general interest. One does not have to agree with some of them at first, but they should be taken into account. In any case, their value will be assessed by our critical readers. We thank everyone who has contributed to making this issue of the Annals as good as possible, especially the authors and reviewers themselves, on whom the open access journal as a small public good primarily depends. In the challenging political years ahead, we will strive to make the Annals as good as possible, in order to contribute to building of the complex mosaic of the pluralistic political community we consider ourselves to be a part of.
