We present to you the twentieth anniversary issue of the Annals of the Croatian Political Science Association, at the same time the third issue signed by this editorial board. The entire issue is available here, and individual texts, as usual, on the portal Hrčak. This year too, we tried to ensure an even representation of different branches of political science. In the area of Croatian politics, we bring three papers dedicated to different aspects of elections in Croatia, and two on governance in the pandemic. Public policy is represented by two texts, one on phase heuristics today, the other on the policy goals and design. In the field of international relations, we bring two texts about Russian foreign policy and the ideology in which it is based. Two texts in political theory are devoted to different methods and politics of reading Machiavelli today. To all of this, we add Mirjana Kasapović’s essay on post-Yugoslav studies, which caused a series of reactions in the public, and the review section, which includes an interesting polemic between political and literary theory about reading Laclau in the context of post-Marxism.
